This is a three hour crash course on Google Apps
We will cover an overview of the service, and then we'll have a hands-on workshop to setup your own domain with email on Google Apps free edition, and teach you how to use it.
We can add Google Apps services to your existing domain or to a new domain. If you currently have email with your current hosting provider, you will have the option to redirect email to Google Apps email, or just learn how to do it on your own time.
Requirements
- Must have practical understanding on how to use an internet browser like Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, or Firefox.
- If you want to complete the setup for your own domain, you must bring your own WiFi enabled laptop.
- In order to complete the Google Apps installation on your own domain, you must own a domain and have access to the registar that holds the account. In some cases, this is somebody like Godaddy, Network Solutions, Register.com, Bluehost, etc. You must have this prior to the beginning of the class. You must bring your username and password to the class so you can follow along. It is recommended that you test this the night before. Be prepared, if you have questions about this, contact Oscar in advance.
- It is recommended that we setup a new domain or configure a domain that isn't using email at the moment. Although we can work with an existing email system, due to the time constraints of the class, some changes to existing email systems might not be completed during the class, if you have questions about this, contact Oscar in advance.

Due to time constraints a full migration from your existing solution may not be possible. We will provide support for a week after the class in order to complete the migration.
